City of Miami Beach

Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs

The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and its volunteer advisory board, the Cultural Affairs Council, develop cultural excellence, diversity and participation throughout Miami-Dade County by strategically creating and promoting opportunities for our community’s thousands of artists and not-for-profit cultural organizations, and our residents and visitors who are their audiences. The Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council provide grants and technical assistance to cultural organizations and individual artists; develop and improve cultural facilities; create and advance arts education, public information and outreach programs; advocate for effective cultural policies and for more public and private resources to invest in cultural development; and promote and market our cultural assets broadly and innovatively.

City of Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council

The Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council was created to develop, coordinate, and promote performing and visual arts groups by serving as arts advocates before governmental bodies, by coordinating marketing programs, funding nonprofit arts organizations, and promoting international cultural tourism. The Council oversees and administers grants, which are awarded to eligible organizations producing or presenting visual, or performing arts in the City of Miami Beach.

Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce

The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce is the City of Miami Beach’s oldest, largest and strongest business and civic organization. Boasting more than 2,000 members and growing by the day, the Miami Beach Chamber is poised to continue its mission of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural, educational, health, and civic welfare of the Greater Miami Beach Area.

Miami Beach Convention Center

Global Spectrum, Management Company of the Miami Beach Convention Center, is the fastest growing firm in the public assembly venue management field with more than 80 facilities throughout the United States, Canada, and abroad. Global Spectrum provides innovative management, marketing, operations and event booking services for public assembly facilities, including arenas, civic and convention centers, stadiums, ice facilities, equestrian centers and theatres.This Philadelphia-based company is part of one of the world’s largest sports and entertainment companies, Comcast-Spectacor.

Front Row Marketing Services

Front Row Marketing Services, a division of public assembly facility management firm Global Spectrum, and part of one of the world’s largest sports and entertainment firms, Comcast-Spectacor, was formed in 1998 by highly-respected sports marketing expert Mr. Richard Sherwood. Front Row Marketing Services provides municipalities, sports and entertainment clients and facilities with a number of services, including sponsorship evaluation analysis, venue advertising, sales and marketing of premium seating and facility naming rights. Front Row also works with corporations to develop effective sports and entertainment marketing, sponsorship and advertising strategies.

Comcast-Spectacor

Comcast-Spectacor is the principal owner of Global Spectrum and Front Row Marketing Services.  They are owners of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association, the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League, Flyers Skate Zone, a series of community ice skating rinks, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, a regional sports programming network and 3601 Creative Group, a full-service in-house advertising agency. In a partnership with Disson Skating, Comcast-Spectacor annually produces 10 nationally televised figure skating spectaculars on NBC.
