Description:
Rose Garden is a collaboration of various women embodying sensuality through folkloric and contemporary dance. Each woman represents her own flower, blossoming as she will, in her own unique context and form. Through the use of various dance styles female sensuality is represented as a natural, beautiful and empowering aspect of womanhood and of life itself.

The diversity of women and of sensual expression is reflected through the various cultural and stylistic approaches. Included in the show is Flamenco, Middle Eastern, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Peruvian, Folkloric Indian dance and Contemporary fusion.

Performing works by: Celia Fonta, AfroContempo Dance Theater, Portia Lange, Marisol Blanco, Monica Craun and Geeta Dias.
